Beautiful cushion made in the front part of a wonderful African Bogolan Mudcloth fabric, woven and decorated by hand by some peoples of Mali.
The word Bogolan (or Bogolanfini) means "made of mud" and, in fact, the decorations on this African fabric are obtained using fermented mud through a long and complex procedure dating back to the 12th century, which makes african mudcloth cushions very special ethnic cushions.
